BRIEF
I founded Served in 2023 with 2 friends who suffer from allergies to create the first end-to-end solution helping allergic people to eat out and restaurants to cater for them. With food allergies estimated to affect over 50% of urban populations by 2050, the company aims to set the standard in both allergy safety and inclusivity of dietary preferences.
SOLUTION
As Head of Product, I led the UX development of the Served system, composed of both a customer app, which helps users with safe ordering and dynamic filtering of restaurants/menus based on their dietary preferences, and a restaurant platform, which provides simple allergy staff training that’s easy to track and maintain for managers, while also offering increased visibility through the Served app.
